Interpersonal communication and self-awareness

Understand how you operate before trying to adjust how others do, with DISC and the Enneagram. The programmes are built on these two models, in which the firm's founder, Alain Palacios, is certified: that is what makes the technique genuinely applicable.

3 courses

  1. Two colleagues at a desk compare colour-coded profile charts, a mug and a tablet beside them

    DISC and Driving Forces

Two days on two complementary instruments: DISC describes how someone behaves, Driving Forces describe what drives them underneath. Each participant receives their individual report and leaves with a strategy for the people they find hardest to work with.

    • Identify the four behavioural styles of the DISC model and their key characteristics
    • Analyse your own profile and Driving Forces from the results of your individual assessment

  2. Four colleagues talking and smiling around a wooden table with notebooks and mugs, in a bright room full of plants

    Self-awareness and positive communication

Understand why you communicate the way you do before trying to change anything. Two days: an Enneagram test to place how you operate, then practical techniques to ask, refuse and criticise without attacking.

    • Know the nine Enneagram types and the notions of integration and disintegration
    • Identify your own personality type and what it imposes on your communication

  3. A woman standing with a notepad listens to three colleagues seated at laptops, in a meeting room with a view over the city

Know yourself to communicate and assert yourself better

The long format, with a third day a few weeks later. Three days to place your profile, understand where your way of communicating comes from, and gain practical responses to aggression and manipulation.

Most workplace misunderstandings do not come from a disagreement on substance. They come from two people processing the same information differently: one wants the conclusion first, the other needs the reasoning; one hears criticism where the other thought they were asking a question. No communication technique survives that gap if it has not been identified.

That is why our communication courses start with self-awareness. DISC gives a quick, practical reading of observable behaviour — what the person in front of you is doing, here and now. The Enneagram works at a deeper level: what drives someone over time, what they avoid, and how they behave under pressure. The two are complementary, and we are clear about what each allows and does not allow.

One clarification matters: these are not selection tools. We do not use them to recruit, appraise or rank employees. They serve what they are valid for — understanding yourself and adjusting how you address someone else.

On that foundation, the techniques — constructive feedback, positive and nonviolent communication, standing your ground against aggression and manipulation — become applicable, because participants know which register to use depending on who they are talking to.

Frequently asked questions

Is DISC a personality test?

No, and the distinction matters. DISC describes observable behaviour in a given context, not a stable identity. The same person may show a different profile at work and at home, or after a change of role. We use it as a shared reading grid, never as a label.

What is the difference between DISC and the Enneagram?

DISC answers “how does this person behave?” and is covered in two days together with Driving Forces. The Enneagram answers “what makes them act, and what do they do under pressure?”: deeper, more demanding, and more useful for in-depth work on yourself or for coaching. Many participants start with DISC.

Do you use these tools for recruitment or appraisal?

No. Neither DISC nor the Enneagram is a valid selection instrument, and we refuse to use them that way. They serve people's development and the quality of working relationships. If what you need is an assessment system, we will tell you and decline the engagement.

In which languages are these courses delivered?

In French, English or Spanish. In German-speaking Switzerland, sessions for international companies are most often held in English. The site is published in German, but sessions are not delivered in German at this stage.

Is there a questionnaire to complete before the session?

For the DISC programmes, yes: each participant completes a questionnaire beforehand and receives their profile during the session, which leaves time to work on it rather than just discover it. For the Enneagram, identification happens during the course, with the trainer's support.

Are these courses suitable for a whole team?

Yes, and it is the format with the best return. When a team shares the same reading grid, it gains a common vocabulary for discussing its frictions without making them personal — which lastingly changes the quality of meetings and disagreements.
