Individual coaching

Individual coaching, to step back before you decide

One-to-one work with a manager or leader, on a real situation where they are stuck. Sessions take place every two to three weeks over three to six months, in French, English or Spanish, and what is said stays between the two people in the room.

When it helps

The most frequent requests

  • A recent promotion where the job turned out to be different from the one you accepted.
  • A working relationship that has become costly and that you cannot get out of.
  • A decision you have been turning over for months and keep putting off for reasons that no longer convince you.
  • A pattern you recognise, repeating from job to job and from team to team.

Coaching is neither therapy nor consulting. A coach does not diagnose and does not tell you what to do. If what you need is expert advice or clinical support, we will say so at the first conversation rather than take the engagement.

How it works

A clear framework in four steps

  1. A first conversation, free of charge

Forty-five minutes to describe the situation and decide whether coaching is the right instrument. Roughly one conversation in four ends with a recommendation other than coaching.

  2. A written objective

What you want to see change, stated concretely enough that you will know whether it happened. Where an employer is paying, the objective is agreed three-way before starting.

  3. The sessions

Six to ten ninety-minute sessions, every two to three weeks, in person in Switzerland or online. The gap matters: the work happens between sessions, not during them.

  4. An end, on a date set in advance

Coaching with no end date becomes a habit rather than a change. We review the objective honestly, and we stop. Extending is a new decision, not a reflex.
